As a junior last year, Schulte, the lone Ram to start all 32 games, averaged 10.7 ppg and 9.1 rpg. He led the  team in rebounding and blocks (18), was second in steals (48), and third in scoring. Schulte recorded a team-best nine double-doubles and was second in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding and offensive rebounding (3.6) and third in defensive rebounding (5.5). Additionally, he shot .563 (143-254) from the field, seventh in the Atlantic 10.

Fordham was selected to finish seventh in the 14-team league in a vote of the conference's coaches, tying for the Rams' best predicted finish in recent history (the 2023-24 squad was also picked seventh). VCU, the defending A10 champions, was picked first, one voting point ahead of Saint Louis.

The Rams will host UMBC on Wednesday for an exhibition game in the Rose Hill Gym at 6:00 p.m. and open the regular season on Monday, November 2, as they travel to Lawrence, Kansas, to face the University of Kansas at 8:00 p.m. (EST). Fordham opens the home portion of its 2026-27 season by hosting Stonehill College on Thursday, November 5, in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 7:30 p.m.
