Luke Pompliano tally gave the Rams a 1-0 lead, the Flyers pressed hard in an attempt for tie number seven. But the Fordham defense wouldn't break as Fordham defeated Dayton by the 1-0 score at Moglia Stadium.
With the win, Fordham improves to 6-2-3 overall, 3-0-2 in the Atlantic 10, while Dayton falls to 3-2-6 overall, 2-1-2 in the conference.

Luke Pompliano collected a misplayed ball by Dayton keeper Gavin Krenecki in the box and slid the ball into the net from eight yards.
