BRONX, NY --The Fordham volleyball team fell to the Duquesne Dukes in four sets (9-25, 11-25, 25-23, 11-25) Friday at home at the Rose Hill Gym.
The loss dropped Fordham's record to 7-11 overall and 1-7 in Atlantic 10 action.
Mila Micunovic finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Rams offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .250, while Fordham also got 13 digs from Lola Fernandez to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Rams found themselves in an early deficit, losing a tough first set 25-9. Fordham trailed by as many as 16 points as Duquesne never gave up the lead after taking the opening point.
SET 2 | Fordham then dropped the second set 25-11 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Rams trailed by as many as 14 points as Duquesne grabbed the advantage for good early once again.
SET 3 | After losing the opening two sets, Fordham fought back to take the third set and make it a 2-1 match. The Rams won the set 25-23 helped by a strong performance on the attacking side, as Fordham registered a .314 attack percentage with 13 kills in the set win. The Rams opened up a 20-13 lead in the stanza and coasted to victory from there.
SET 4 | Fordham couldn't keep the rally going and fell in the fourth set 25-11 to drop the match. The Rams lost the first point and never took the lead before losing the set.
