NEW YORK  – Off to a hot start to open Atlantic 10 Conference play, Fordham University women's basketball returns to the hardwood Saturday afternoon, hosting St. Bonaventure at the Rose Hill Gym.

Turn Up and Tune In

  • The Rams take on the Bonnies at 2:00 p.m. with Andrew Bogusch and Andrew Posadas calling the action on ESPN+.

  • WFUV handles the radio call on YouTube Live with Chris Carrino, Ben Oppenheimer, and Brendan Shorey covering the game.

  • Saturday is the Rams' annual PRIDE day. Fans can expect special activities, giveaways, and a vibrant atmosphere as we stand together in support of the LGBTQ+ community. 

Rams at a Glance

  • Fordham (11-7, 5-2) looks to continue its strong start to 2025, winners of five of their last six games since the ball dropped in Times Square.

  • Saturday marks the middle of a three-game homestand for the Rams that will carry through the end of the month, after downing Dayton 58-55 last Saturday, and will conclude with the Battle of the Rams against Rhode Island on Jan. 29. Fordham's next away game will come on Feb. 1 at Saint Louis.

  • The Maroon and White are unbeaten in their last seven games at the Rose Hill Gym, dating back to the opening week of the campaign, a win over Cal St. Fullerton.

  • 56 - Fordham has only allowed more than 56 points scored twice in any of their 11 wins on the year, holding LIU to a season-low 43 points on Dec. 8.

  • Fordham has crashed the offensive glass all season long, ranked third in the A-10 and 41st in the nation averaging 14.1 offensive rebounds per game, and hold a +4.4 rebounding margin, 85th best in Division I.

  • Defensively, the Rams have wreaked havoc on their opponents, placing 62nd in the country and third in the A-10 forcing 19:39 turnovers per game.

  • The Maroon and White have also collected 9.2 steals per game, fifth best in the league.

Leading the Herd

  • Taylor Donaldson has led the Rams in scoring in eight of the last 10 games, and sits amongst the top-100 players in the nation in a plethora of statistical categories, including points per game (77th), steals per game (65th), three pointers per game (18th), and total three pointers made (47th).

  • Pacing the offense and ranked third in the A-10 at 17.2 points per game, Donaldson enters the weekend second in the conference in three pointers made per game at 2.88, and third in the A-10 in steals per game at 2.38.

  • Irene Murua leads the team and sits sixth in the league in field goal percentage, shooting 55.8% from the field this season. 

  • Murua also tops the Rams rebounding numbers with 6.4 per contest, placing her 13th best in the conference, while also averaging 3.3 on the offensive end.

  • Taya Davislead the team, sitting third in the A-10 and 70th in the nation at 4.5 assists per game.

  • Davis has tallied consecutive double-figure scoring games for the first time in her Fordham career, tallying ten or more points in each of the last six games.

  • Chaé Harris has been consistent whether in the starting five or coming off the bench, making 12 starts while averaging 8.9 points per game, 2.4 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists per game, and 1.2 steals per game.

Matchup History

  • The Rams enter the weekend riding an 11-game winning streak against the Bonnies, helping to hold a 24-22 all-time record.

  • Fordham is 15-9 against St. Bonaventure in games played at the Rose Hill Gym.

  • The Rams have won the last nine meetings with the Bonnies by eight or more points.

Besting St. Bonaventure

Centennial Celly at Rose Hill

  • Celebrating the Centennial anniversary of the Rose Hill Gym with giveaways, trivia, and more, the Rams  held off a late surge by Dayton to take a 58-55 win over the Flyers.

  • Fordham was also joined by numerous former members of the Maroon and White Saturday, also celebrating Alumni Day with 10 former Rams in attendance for the game.

  • Taylor Donaldson led a trio of Rams who finished in double figures Saturday afternoon, recording a game-high 19-points along with five rebounds and a steal. 

  • Irene Murua drained 6-of-9 shots from the floor to finish with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

  • Taya Davis added 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a pair of steals. 

  • Fordham out-rebounded Dayton 40-29, led by Emma Wilson-Saltos who tallied a team-best seven rebounds and matched Rose Nelson for the team lead with a pair of blocks as well.

Next Stop

  • The Maroon and White conclude the weekend Wednesday afternoon with the Battle of the Rams against Rhode Island at 6:30 p.m.
