BRONX, N.Y.  – Following a strong season for the Fordham rowing team in 2023-24, the senior duo of Brooke Gould and Maja Gunz has earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators. 

Both racing in the Rams' top boat, Gould, a marketing major, and Gunz, a chemistry major, propelled Fordham to a fourth-place finish at this year's Atlantic 10 Championship, the program's third straight top-five performance.

For their efforts, Gould was named to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team while Gunz earned a spot on the All-Atlantic 10 Second Team.

Last month, Gunz was one of 15 Atlantic 10 student-athletes to earn the prestigious Atlantic 10 Postgraduate Scholarship.

In addition to the team's fourth place finish at the league's championship, Fordham also turned in strong showings at the Spring Metropolitan Championship and the Dad Vail Regatta, the latter of which saw Fordham boats claim three silver medals.
