Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's tennis squad ventured south on Saturday as the Rams faced off with George Mason University at the Westhampton Tennis Complex in Richmond, falling to the Patriots, 5-0.
Fordham opened the match by dropping the doubles point, losing both completed doubles matches. 1.
Nicholas Kanazirev and
Stefan Stojanovic fell at first doubles to George Mason's Niza Simunyola and Monil Lotlikar, 6-2, and
John Mascone and
Giorgio Soemarno were defeated by the same score at second doubles by Jacco Arends and Zavan Fahim.
The Spiders then took the first four completed singles matches for the 5-0 win.
