Richmond, Va. – The Fordham University men's tennis team closed out its two-match swing down to Richmond with a 4-0 loss to the University of Richmond Spiders on Sunday.
The Spiders opened the match by taking the doubles point, winning both completed doubles matches. Cole Brashear and David Wiley defeated Fordham's
Nicholas Kanazirev and
Dhillon Virdee-Oakley at first doubles, 6-2, and Dylan Atkinson and Nick Roddy clinched the point for Richmond with a 6-2 win over
Bingru Chen and
Stefan Stojanovic.
The Spiders them won the first three completed singles matches for the 4-0 win.
