Box Score Harrison, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's tennis team opened its 2024 spring schedule on Saturday by hosting Boston University, falling to the Terriers, 6-1, at Life Time Westchester.
 
The Rams opened platy by winning the doubles point, taking two of the three doubles matches, but then dropped the six singles matches.
 
"Even though we lost I think we played some great matches against a very tough Boston University team," said Fordham head coach David Slater. "We took the doubles point and lost close matches at 1, 3, 4 & 5 in singles. It was our first match of the season, and it showed, but the team competed well and had a great attitude."
