BRONX, N.Y. - Set for back-to-back home games this week, Fordham University women's basketball returns to action Wednesday night for a meeting with Loyola Chicago at the Rose Hill Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. 

Catch the Rams

  • Wednesday's clash with the Ramblers will air live on ESPN+ and air throughout the Tri-State Area on the YES Network, with Andrew Bogusch, Andrew Posadas, and Maria Trivelpiece making up the broadcast trio.

  • Lou Orlando and Julia Moss will have the audio call for WFUV Sports on YouTube Live.

For the Ramily

  • Wednesday is Fordham's annual "White Out" game with all fans in attendance encouraged to wear white as they cheer on the Rams.

  • Fans in attendance will receive a white Fordham basketball t-shirt.

Matchup History

  • Fordham and Loyola Chicago have met just twice before in women's basketball with the Rams taking both games in the all-time series

  • The two last squared off when the Ramblers joined the Atlantic 10 last season, with Fordham claiming an 80-64 win at Rose Hill.

  • Flashing back to 1990 for the first ever meeting between the two sides, the Rams won that game, also played in The Bronx, 79-68.

  • The Rams enter the weekend at 6-12, coming off their first of two byes on the year last weekend.

Lining Up Against Loyola

  • Loyola enters the midweek at 10-8 on the year (4-3 A-10) and are seeking their third win in a row, after defeating St. Bonaventure last time out 78-50, and UMass the game prior, 79-66 on the road.

  • Three players for the Ramblers have started in all 18 games thus far, with two averaging over 12.5 points per game.

  • Alyssa Fisher, shooting 39% from the field, leads the team with 13.4 points per game and 26 steals, and sits second with 44 assists.

  • Sam Galanopolous is averaging 12.9 points per game while shooting it at a 46% clip from the field and 43% from three-point range.

Next Stop

  • The Rams host George Washington at the Rose Hill Gym Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

  • Saturday will be the fourth and final appearance for the Rams on the YES Network this season.
