Bronx, N.Y. – With fall camp winding down and thoughts turning to the first game at Albany on August 26, we wrap up our breakdown of the 2023 Fordham Rams with a look at the kickers.
The Rams return both kickers from last year in senior placekicker
Brandon Peskin and junior punter
Will Haslett. Last year Peskin, a Second Team All-Patriot League selection, set a school record with 76 PATs to go with 12 field goals. He led the Patriot League and was seventh in the NCAA in scoring (9.3 points/game) while the 12 field goals was tied for the sixth most in a season for a Ram.
Haslett handled the punting chores for the Rams in 2022, averaging 45.4 yards/kick, the third best single season average in school history. He had eleven punts downed inside the opponent's 20 and had ten punts for more than 50 yards as Fordham led the Patriot League and was fifth in the NCAA FCS in net punting average (40.2).
The Rams also have one freshman kicker in camp,
Mack Massad, who was an All-Ohio punter and kicker last year at Rocky River High School.
The new piece to the kicking puzzle will be at long snapper after the graduation of four-year starter
Tom Callahan. Looking to fill the void will be sophomore
Walker Adkinson and freshman
Connor Roman.
Season and individual game tickets for the 2023 home season are now on sale through the
