St. Louis, Mo. – Fordham softball fell twice at Saint Louis in Saturday's rain-delayed doubleheader, 8-0 in six innings in game one and 1-0 in game two. With the day's results, the Rams fall to 13-22 overall and 4-7 in Atlantic 10 play, while the Billikens improve to 17-22 and 9-4, respectively.
The Rams tallied nine hits in the series opener, led by the top-two duo of
Michaela Carter and
Neleh Nogay, each reaching base twice, with five others notching one hit apiece.
Devon Miller suffered her seventh loss in the contest, though, as the Billikens enacted the run rule in the sixth.
Bailey Enoch suffered a tough sixth loss in game two, limiting Saint Louis to one run, the Billikens' Hanner limited Fordham's offense to one hit – a
Mallory McClellan single, the sophomore also stealing second.
The two schools will conclude the weekend series on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET
