SHAMOKIN DAM, Pa. – The Fordham rowing team closed out its fall season on Saturday afternoon when it took to the Susquehanna River for a series of races against Bucknell. 
 
In the Varsity 8+, the Rams made a strong move at the 1,000m mark to pull away from the Bison boat, crossing in a time of 6:45.06.   
 
The Second Varsity 8+ came off the line quick and continued to build its lead throughout the race, finishing in 6:58.25, nearly 10 seconds clear of Bucknell.
 
The Bison took first in the Varsity 4+ race, completing the course in 6:57.77.  Fordham's top shell clocked in at 7:06.55 followed by the B boat at 7:13.75 and the C shell at 7:16.27.
 
In the Novice 8+, Fordham finished fourth in a time of 7:05.23.
