Bronx, N.Y. – The
Kyle Neptune era is about to start for the Fordham men's basketball program so let us meet the 2021-2022 team.
Today, let's meet another one of the nine new faces on the 2021-2022 roster, freshman forward
Pat Kelly.
Kelly is a transfer from Penn State where he redshirted the 2019-2020 season and appeared in five games last season for the Nittany Lions.
The Raleigh, N.C., native is a graduate of Virginia Episcopal School (VES) in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he lettered in both basketball and football. He earned all-conference honors in both sports at and was the Bishops' MVP. As a junior, Kelly averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and one block per game at VES as the team advanced to state championship semifinals. He played final year of basketball at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he served as team captain.
