Washington, D.C. – (August 29, 2021) – The fifth-ranked Georgetown Hoyas scored four times in the first half on Sunday afternoon, as they earned a 4-0 decision over the Fordham Rams in men's soccer action in Washington, D.C.
The Hoyas struck early as Kyle Linhares passed at the top of the box to Chris Hegardt. He served it to the back post to Stefan Stojanovic for the opening marker of the match.

Callum James in the box resulted in a penalty kick as Dante Polvara converted the penalty for a 2-0 edge.
The Hoyas added two more goals before the half to finish with a 4-0 advantage they would not relinquish.
James and
Nick Buchholz each played a half in net for Fordham, with James having two saves I the opening stanza with Buchholz having three in the second. Giannis Nikopolidis stopped three shots on goal to earn the shutout win.
The Rams will next be in action on Saturday, September 4
th, as the team has its home opener against LIU at 1:00 PM.
