Philadelphia Pa. – The Fordham University crew put its oars in the water today in its second regatta of the season as the Rams competed at the 2021 Jesuit Invitational on the Schuylkill River.
A major collegiate regatta in previous years, the Jesuit Invitational was held on the Schuylkill for the first time since 2015. Joining the Rams on Saturday were fellow Jesuit programs Saint Joseph's and Loyola University Maryland, along with A-10 La Salle.

Fordham entered boats in the varsity 4, second varsity 8 and varsity 8 with the varsity 4 leading the way with a first place finish. The Rams covered the 2000-meter course in a winning time of 7:46.2, over ten seconds ahead of A-10 rivals Saint Joseph's, and in front of both Loyola entries.

In the second varsity 8, Saint Joseph's took gold in a time of 6:47.1, followed by Fordham (7:14.1) and Loyola (7:34.1).
