Cherry Hill, N.J.  – The Fordham men's tennis squad closed out their weekend with a 6-1 loss to Temple today at the Cherry Hill Racquet Club.
 
Temple opened the match winning the doubles point. Leo Raquin and Thibault Frumholz took second doubles from Max Green and Alex Makatsaria, 6-1, before Jofre Segarra and Tom Russwurm evened doubles play with a 6-4 win over Marin Delmas and Juan Araoz at the third position. However, Eric Biscoveanu and Louis Gorregues defeated Fabian Mauritzson and Lutwin de Macar at first doubles, 6-4, to win the point for the Owls.
 
Makatsaria picked up the Fordham point with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Biscoveanu at third singles.
 
The Rams, 4-2 in the spring, return to action on Saturday, April 17, as they travel into Queens to face St. John's University the host La Salle University at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens at 11:00 a.m.
