Hamilton, N.Y. - A regular season that commenced on a hot August day on Jack Coffey Field ended today on a cold November Day on Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium. However, it did not end the way the Rams would have liked as Colgate took advantage of five Fordham turnovers to defeat the Rams, 45-31 in a Patriot League game.

With the loss, Fordham closes out the season 6-5 overall, 4-2 in the Patriot League, while Colgate finishes the season 5-6 overall, 5-1 in the League.

Senior quarterback
Tim DeMorat completed 29 of 48 passes for 350 yards and two touchdowns while junior wide receiver
MJ Wright caught 13 passes for 119 yards and junior wide out
Dequece Carter added six receptions for 127 yards and a score.

Defensively, freshman linebacker
James Conway made a game-high 12 tackles, eight solo, including one for loss, while junior linebacker
Tyler Cook added nine stops, including a sack.

The Rams trailed 23-21 at the half as the Raiders converted a Fordham turnover to a field goal as time expired.

Nick Leinenweber field goal gave the Rams a 24-23 lead 4:40 into the second half but Colgate scored late in the third and early in the fourth to take a 38-24 lead.

Zach Davis rushed around the right side on fourth and goal with 5:54 left to make it a seven-point game, 38-31.

The Fordham defense held the Raiders on the ensuing possession but DeMorat was stripped sacked on the Fordham 12 and the Raiders took the turnover to the end zone
