Gallery: (11-15-2021) Men's Basketball vs. St. Thomas
Bronx, N.Y. – It has been a busy opening week for the Fordham men's basketball squad. But the Rams were none the worse for the wear tonight as all the wrapped up a three-games-in-six-days stretch tonight with a spirited 84-78 win over the University of St. Thomas in the Rose Hill Gym.
With the win, Fordham improves to 2-1 on the year while St. Thomas falls to 1-2.
Sophomore guard
Kyle Rose led all Rams with a career-high 22 points, shooting 6-for-10 from behind the arc, while graduate forward
Chuba Ohams and graduate guard
Darius Quisenberry each recorded a double-double with Ohams scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds and Quisenberry netting 12 points and pulling down ten rebounds.
Junior guard
Antonio Daye, Jr. and sophomore guard
Antrell Charlton also scored in double figures with 12 and 11, respectively.
The Rams led by one at the break, 39-38, but the Tommies managed to tie the game twice over the first four minutes of the second half, the final at 46-46. A Rose three ignited a 9-0 Fordham run as the Rams took a 55-46 lead on a Rose lay in with 12:43 left.
Fordham got the lead to as many as 17, 75-58, following a Daye driving layup with just over four minutes remaining and a late rally by the Tommies came up short.

• The two teams split the first two meetings.
• The Rams won the last meeting, 66-45, in 2019 behind 18 points and eleven rebounds from
Chuba Ohams.
