Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's basketball program has been put on a 14-day pause for all activities due to a positive Tier 1 COVID-19 test.
The pause will force the Rams to cancel the St. John's game scheduled for December 8. Fordham saw its first two games of the year canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests from individuals within the Iona College and Manhattan College men's basketball programs.
The pause follows New York State, New York City, CDC, and NCAA regulations to ensure the health and safety of all members of the men's basketball team as well as all other programs and the university community.
The pause will end on December 12, forcing the Rams' to reschedule the home game against the University of Maine that is scheduled for that date. Maine is currently on pause due to a positive COVID-19 test result.
