Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2020 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham's 117th varsity season, by hosting the George Washington University Colonials in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, January 22, at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be the annual
Coaches vs. Cancer game, presented by New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital. The Fordham coaching staff will support the cause by wearing sneakers with their suits on the bench. This initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. Since 1993, coaches have raised over $100 million for the American Cancer Society.
The game will be streamed live on the ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (play-by-play) and Isis Young (color) on the call, and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and streamed on wfuvsports.org with Emmanuel Berbari (play-by-play) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing.
Fordham enters the game with a 6-11 record, 0-5 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 74-62 A-10 loss to Davidson College in the Rose Hill Gym on Sunday afternoon night while George Washington is 8-10 overall on the year, 2-3 in the conference, and is coming off a 75-51 league win over Massachusetts in Amherst on Saturday afternoon.
