Villanova, Pa. – The Fordham men's soccer team suffered a tough-luck 1-0 golden-goal loss in double overtime at Villanova on Tuesday evening. The Rams fall to 0-3-1 on the year, while the Wildcats improve to 4-0 overall.
Two minutes into the second extra period, Lyam MacKinnon struck off a rebound in the box following a shot by Shane Bradley, the Wildcats' fourth shot on goal of the match. Despite being outshot, 17-12, overall, the Wildcats four shots on target were more than the visitors' two. Fordham also held the advantage on corner kicks, 7-2, but committed more fouls, 15-11.
Konstantin Weis made a trio of saves on the night, while his opposite number made two.

th minute, notched the other shot on goal. Seven Rams played the entire 102 minutes.
The Rams return to the Bronx to host Holy Cross this Saturday at 5 p.m. at Jack Coffey Field. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
