Amherst, Mass. - The Fordham University Rams continue the 2018-2019 season, Fordham's 116th varsity season, and continue their 2019 Atlantic 10 schedule by traveling to Amherst, Mass., to face the University of Massachusetts Minutemen in the Mullins Center on Wednesday, February 6, at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM).
Fordham enters the game with a 9-12 overall record, 0-8 in the Atlantic 10, and is coming off a 79-61 A-10 loss at George Washington last Wednesday night while Massachusetts is 8-14 overall on the season, 1-8 in the conference, after a 64-62 A-10 loss at Saint Joseph's on Saturday.
Wednesday night's contest will be the 46th meeting between Fordham and Massachusetts on the hardwood with the Minutemen leading the all-time series, which started in the 1967-68 season, 29-16. The Rams have taken the past four meetings, including an 82-69 win in the Rose Hill Gym last January behind 19 points and ten rebounds from
Prokop Slanina and 16 points from
Ivan Raut.

• Freshman
Nick Honor is tenth in the Atlantic 10 and 14th among all NCAA Div. I freshmen, averaging 15.7 ppg.
• Honor has scored in double figures in 19 of the 21 games this year.
• The Rams lead the Atlantic 10, and are 35th in the NCAA, in turnover margin at +3.2.
• Fordham is averaging 68.1 ppg this year after averaging 62.3 ppg last year.
• Fordham is fourth in the Atlantic 10, and 49th in the NCAA, in scoring defense, allowing just 66.1 ppg after giving up 70.3 ppg last year.
• The Rams are second in the Atlantic 10 with 8.9 three-pointers made/game.
• The Mullins Center was the site of Fordham's first Atlantic 10 road win, a 66-60 win over the Minutemen in 1999.
• The Rams are led by two captains in 2018-2019, senior forward
David Pekarek and senior guard
Antwon Portley.
• Besides eight new freshmen, the Rams also welcome two transfers to the lineup in 2018-2019, Portley (Saint Peter's) and senior
Erten Gazi (DePaul). Both sat out last year after transferring to Fordham and each will have another year of eligibility remaining.
• Fordham is one of the youngest teams in the NCAA Div. I this year with eight freshmen and two sophomores on the 17-man roster.
• The Rams are an international team with five players from foreign countries.
