Bronx, N.Y. – Everyone is familiar with the Peanuts comic strip where Lucy holds the football for Charlie Brown to kick and pulls it back at the last minute. Tonight Charlie Brown, the Saint Joseph's guard, got some revenge for his cartoon character as the Hawks let Fordham take a 16-point lead before Brown helped the visitors come back to defeat Fordham, 66-52, in an Atlantic 10 game in the Rose Hill Gym.
Â
With the loss, Fordham falls to 11-17 overall, 2-13 in the Atlantic 10, while Saint Joseph's improves to 12-16 overall, 5-10 in the conference.
Â
Freshman guard

Â

Â
Fordham would get the lead to 16, 39-23, on an
Antwon Portley free throw 2:17 into the second half when Saint Joseph's scored 23 straight points to take a 46-39 lead with 9:24 remaining.
Â
The Rams managed to get the Hawks' lead down to three, 48-45, on an Honor three-point play with 8:39 left but that was as close as they would get.
