Bronx, N.Y. – No matter who is running or throwing the ball for the 2018 Fordham football Rams, one thing is certain. Without a solid offensive line, neither position can function. As we continue our position-by-position breakdown of the 2018 Rams we take a look at the offensive line.
Â
The Fordham offensive line took a hit with the graduation of All-Patriot League performers
Anthony Coyle, who signed a free agent contract with the Houston Texans, and
Ben Hartman.
Â
But the Rams return a Preseason All-Patriot League selection in senior
Dominic Lombard along with juniors
Marcel Deya and
Anthony Solano and sophomores
Jake Trautman and
Nick Zakelj, who each gained experience as freshmen last fall when the Rams averaged 371.7 yards of total offense/game, third best in the Patriot League, including 238.9 passing yards/game, also third best in the league and 31st among all NCAA FCS teams.
