Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's tennis team concluded their fall season by hosting Hofstra, Wagner and St. Francis Brooklyn in the Fordham Quad tournament at Hawthorn Rooney Courts this weekend.

Overall the Rams made it to the semifinals or further in each of the singles and doubles draws.

In A singles play Fabian Hansch Mauritzson and Max Green both made it to the finals. Mauritzson defeated Wagner's Anatoliy Lashkul 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals and Hofstra's Marcus Smith 6-4, 6-3 in the semifinals while Green bested Hofstra's Jan Leithner 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 in the quarterfinals and bested Wagner's Dylan Walters 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 in the semifinals. Green and Hansch Mauritzson will play their finals match at a later date.

In B singles play, Lutwin de Macar defeated St. Francis Brooklyn's Guillermo Artiz 6-3, 7-6 in the quarterfinals and Hofstra's Shawn Jackson 6-1, 6-2 in the semifinals before falling to Wagner's Eric Poland 7-5, 1-6, 10-7 in the finals.

In the C singles draw, Jofre Segarra defeated Hofstra's Giacomo Pezzoli 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 in the quarterfinals before falling to Wagner's Siddharth Anand 6-1, 6-3 in the semifinals and Jeremy Chung defeated teammate Finn Kemper 7-6, 6-6 (retired) in the quarterfinals before falling to Wagner's Dale Sandy in a hard-fought three-setter 6-2, 3-6, 12-10 in the semifinals.

In doubles play, Kemper and Green defeated Chung and Mauritzson 6-4 in the quarterfinals and Wagner's Dale Sandy and Dylan Walters 7-5 in the semifinals before falling to Hofstra's Leithner/Smith 6-0 in the finals.
