Saint Louis, Mo. – The Fordham volleyball team grabbed set one in a crucial Atlantic 10 match-up at Saint Louis on Friday night but the hosts rallied back for three straight games to take the match in four. With the result, the Rams fall under .500 for the first time this season, moving to 12-13 overall and 4-8 in conference action. The Bilikens improve to 10-14 and 7-4, respectively.

Fordham rallied in the first set, overturning a lead the hosts had held for much of the frame, beginning at 20-17.
Molly Oshinski began with a kill and got in on a block on the next play alongside fellow senior
Nicole Freeley to get within one. After a Saint Louis timeout, the Rams retook the lead after consecutive Maya Taylor attack errors. Sien Gallop tied things up with a kill but Fordham fired off four straight points to take the set.
Olivia Fairchild, the nation's leader in service aces, followed a kill with three straight aces.

The Bilikens bounced back in set two, racking up 17 kills at a .432 clip, as the Rams notched 10 on .167 hitting, and again with 13 kills at a .345 pace in set three compared to Fordham's seven.

Gallop paced the match with 21 kills, while Fairchild led the way for the Rams with 13, also notching all four of Fordham's aces, giving her a career-high 60 on the year, which is the sixth-most in a single-season. She also hops over Kailee May ('10) into sixth all-time overall, with 117. Next is Mele Misi ('03) with 129.

Oshinski finished with a season-high eight kills, while
McKenna Lahr, who also had eight kills, set a new personal-best with 18 digs.
Maddy Walsh double-doubled with 24 assists and 11 digs, while
Morgan Williams notched 10.

Fordham travels to Dayton on Sunday afternoon, playing at 1 p.m., and finishes the regular season at Rhode Island next Friday night. Â
