Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Fordham volleyball team couldn't make it back-to-back road wins on Sunday afternoon, falling in straight sets to Duquesne, 25-16, 25-22, 25-15. With the loss, the Rams fall to 11-10 on the year and 3-5 in conference play. The Dukes improve to 9-13 and 4-4, respectively.

Fordham hit .160 as a team, despite two straight sets over .200 as a group, but the Dukes hit .299 on the day, including a .343 mark in the first set and a .320 clip in the third. The hosts also out-aced and out-blocked the Rams, 9-2 and 9-3, respectively.

Sophomore
Kaitlin Morley led the squad with nine kills, following by
Olivia Fairchild's seven and both
Olivia LaPorta and
Elise Benjamin with six.
Morgan Williams paced the team with 14 digs,
Sophia Plett returned from injury to post 23 assists, and both Morley and Benjamin tallied two blocks apiece. Fairchild and Williams notched the team's lone aces.
