Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham volleyball program has announced the date of its annual breast cancer awareness match, to be held on Sunday, October 22
nd, when the Rams host Davidson at 1 p.m. Fordham is partnering with Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Research and Colleges vs. Cancer for the event with a goal set at $2,000. Fans can donate at the link below.
In addition to the event, there will be a free t-shirt giveaway to the first 150 fans in attendance, plus there will be a silent auction and raffle. Silent auction items include a team autographed volleyball, pink NFL cleats, New York Islanders tickets, a Kemba Walker-signed basketball, an Alan Houston signed basketball, and an autographed Pavel Buchnevic New York Rangers hockey stick. Fans must attend home matches before October 22
nd to bid on the items.
Raffle prizes include a Bookstore Swag Bag, a Tom Seaver autographed picture, an Amazon Echo, a Jacoby Ellsbury autographed baseball, and an autographed New York Knicks item. Fans must purchase raffle tickets at one of the upcoming home matches.
