Davidson, N.C. – The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2016-2017 Atlantic 10 season, the 114th varsity season at Rose Hill, by traveling to Davidson, N.C., to face the Davidson College Wildcats in Belk Arena on Wednesday, January 11, at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live pn TWC SportsChannel of the Carolinas and streamed live on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network and with Patrick Kinas (p-b-p), Jeff Jackson (color) and Shantel Jordan (sidelines) announcing and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on www.wfuvsports.org with Drew Casey (p-b-p) and James Decker (color) announcing. Fordham enters the game with a 6-10 overall record, 0-3 in the Atlantic 10, after a 70-55 conference loss to Saint Joseph's in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon, while
Davidson is 8-6 on the season, 1-2 in the A-10, after defeating Saint Louis, 77-66, in St. Louis on Sunday afternoon.
Wednesday night's contest will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Davidson on the hardwood with the Wildcats taking the first two meetings, including a 76-57 win at Davidson in 2015-16 as Brian Sullivan scored 18 points and Jack Gibbs added 17 for Davidson, before the Rams won last year's matchup, 91-82, in the Rose Hill Gym on February 27 behind 18 points and 12 rebounds from
Ryan Rhoomes and 17 points from
Christian Sengfelder.

• Sophomore guard
Joseph Chartouny is second in the NCAA in steals/game, averaging 3.47 and is second in the league and 37th in assists/game (5.5). He tied his career-high with seven steals against Rutgers.
• Fordham leads the Atlantic 10 and is third in the NCAA in steals/game (10.6).
• The Rams lead the Atlantic 10 and are fifth in the NCAA with 169 total steals in 2016-2017.
• Fordham has recorded double digit steal totals in eleven of the 16 games this year.
• The Rams are also second in the NCAA in turnover margin (7.0) and turnovers forced (19.31/game).
