Kirk Haynes, Jr., as the game was scoreless through five innings with Haynes allowing just one hit, while Wilson gave up two.
Rhode Island then solved Haynes in the sixth, when Martin Figueroa hit a solo home run to left center, his team-leading fourth of the year, for a 1-0 lead.

For Fordham, Haynes, Jr. (3-2) was the hard luck loser in the game, allowing one earned run on four hits with six strikeouts over seven-plus innings.
