Live StatsBRONX, N.Y. -- The Fordham women's volleyball team (4-7) returns to action Tuesday night when it crosses the Hudson River to Jersey City, N.J. to take on Saint Peter's (1-6), with first serve slated for 7 p.m. at the Yanitelli Center. The Peacocks are the third Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponent the Rams will have faced this season, already having knocked of both Manhattan and Rider. Fans will be able to view the match online for a price of $4.95
Last Time OutThe Rams finished 1-2 over the weekend at UMBC's Maddie Bingaman Memorial Tournament, where they lost in a hard-fought three-set match to UMBC (25-27, 23-25, 20-25) and a four-set match to Morgan State (26-28, 25-17, 16-25, 19-25), before sweeping the Broncs of Rider (25-20, 25-10, 25-22), which allowed Fordham to surpass last year's win total.

Breanna Jones led the Rams with 10 kills, while sophomore

Olivia LaPorta paced Fordham with a season-high nine kills, six total blocks and three service aces. Skelton added seven kills, with sophomore
Emily Fronk and senior Konovodoff dishing out 22 and 15 assists, respectively. Defensively, Cartledge led the way with 12 digs, while senior
Brennan Delsing chipped in 10.
The winning match saw Konovodoff collect her second double-double of the season with a match-high 25 assists and a team-best 11 digs, while Jones just missed a double-double with a team-high 11 kills and nine digs. Skelton and sophomore
Nicole Freeley each added eight kills, with Freeley establishing a new career high, who also led the way with a season-high four total blocks. Delsing also had 11 digs and a career-high five assists; La Porta added three more service aces; Martinez seven kills, seven digs, two service aces and two blocks; and sophomore
Molly Oshinski with nine digs to tie a season high.

What You Need To Know: The Peacocks enter Tuesday night on a four-match losing streak after dropping all three matches this past weekend at Providence's Friar Classic. Saint Peter's only triumph is a 3-2 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson, who just swept the Peacocks in Providence. Saint Peter's was also swept by St. Francis Brooklyn, who the Rams took care of in three sets two weeks ago. Tuesday's match is also the home opener for the Peacocks, who feature three players with 46 or more kills. Lauren Behrens leads the way with 64 kills and adds 62 digs, while Amanda Colombo chips in 52 kills, 66 digs and a team-high nine service aces. Kaitlyn Sitton sets the scoring up with 157 assists to go along with 50 digs and five service aces, and Greta Varvell is the leader in digs with 69 and also has 46 kills and 10 total blocks.
Up NextThe Rams return to action Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 when they travel to Loretto, Pa. to participate in their final tournament of the regular season: Saint Francis U's Red Flash Classic. Fordham takes on the hosts Friday night at 7 p.m., before concluding the tournament Saturday against Coppin State (11 a.m.) and High Point (4:30 p.m.).
