BRONX, N.Y. -- The Fordham women's basketball team (15-7, 7-2 A10) looks to bounce back from its first conference home loss of the season when it hosts 13th-place St. Bonaventure (12-10, 2-7 A10) inside the Rose Hill Gym for a Thursday evening nationally-televised contest on SNY starting at 7 p.m. The Atlantic 10 matchup will also be on the Atlantic 10 Network, while an audio broadcast will also take place on WFUVSports.org.

Last Time Out
The Rams fell to Duquesne, 56-46, Saturday (1/31) in Atlantic 10 action inside the Rose Hill Gym. Fordham struggled from the field, shooting only 30.6 percent (19-of-62), including 26.7 percent (8-of-30) in the first half, while Duquesne connected at a 35.0 percent (21-of-60) clip. Each team made six three-pointers, while the Dukes outscored the Rams, 8-2, at the charity stripe. Duquesne also held a 47-37 advantage on the glass after outrebounding Fordham, 27-16, in the second half. The two sides combined for 37 turnovers, with the Rams giving it up 19 times.

The Dukes led for over 33 minutes in the contest and broke a 4-4 tie to increase their lead out to 13-7 at the 12:44 mark of the opening half. But Fordham responded with a 10-2 run, as a trey ball from sophomore Danielle Padovano briefly put the Rams in front, 17-15. Duquesne answered a minute later with a bucket, which started a half-ending 9-2 flurry that gave the Dukes a 24-19 halftime lead.

The visitors scored the first eight points after halftime and stretched the lead out to 32-19 while capping a 17-2 run that proved to be the difference in the contest. Fordham got a close as eight with 16:31 to go but could never get enough stops to get back into the game.

Sophomore Hannah Missry knocked down a few late three-pointers to lead the Rams in scoring with 12 points. Senior Emily Tapio added 11 points, six rebounds and game highs of five assists and three steals, while freshman G'mrice Davis came off the bench to chip in eight points, seven rebounds, and season highs of two blocks and two steals. Graduate student Tiffany Ruffin pulled down a game-high 10 boards to go along with five points and five assists.
