Bronx, N.Y. (March 6, 2014) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad will close out the 2014 Atlantic 10 regular season as they host the George Washington University Colonials in the historic Rose Hill Gym for the Rams' Senior Day on Saturday afternoon, March 8, at 4:30 p.m. in a game that will be televised live on SportsNet NY (SNY) with Dan Raymond (p-b-p), John Griffin (color) and Alexa Datt (sideline) announcing.

Fordham enters the game with a 9-19 overall record, 2-13 in the Atlantic 10, after a 77-65 conference loss at Rhode Island on Wednesday night. George Washington enters the game with a 22-7 overall record, 10-5 in the Atlantic 10, after a 76-71 conference win over Saint Joseph's in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night.

The game will be Senior Day for the Rams who will honor three seniors prior to the game:
Khalid Robinson,
Leo Walsh and
Branden Frazier.

The Rams will be led into the game by the top scoring backcourt in the Atlantic 10, Frazier, a preseason Third Team All-Atlantic 10 pick, and freshman guard
Jon Severe, a product of Christ the King High School. Severe, a four-time Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week who is six points shy of the Fordham freshman scoring record of 504 points set by
Chris Gaston in 2009-10, is averaging  17.8 ppg, second best in the Atlantic 10, while Frazier is right behind him, averaging 17.6 ppg, third best in the conference.

Over his four-year career, Frazier has netted 1,570 points, good for ninth on the Fordham all-time scoring list, and he has 483 career assist, second all-time at Fordham.

Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 28
th meeting between Fordham and George Washington on the hardwood. The Colonials lead the all-time series, which started in 1914-15, 21-6, including a win earlier this year in Washington, D.C.
