After a two-game road swing, the Rams return to the friendly confines on the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon, taking on George Washington in their annual Play 4 Kay game, raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness.

Proceeds raised from the game go to the Kay Yow Foundation, named after the legendary NC State women's basketball coach who died in 2009.

SERIES HISTORY: The Rams have not enjoyed much success historically against the Colonials, with GW holding a 17-2 all-time record against Fordham.  In fact, the Rams did not pick up their first win against GW until 15 years after the series began, as Fordham finally earned a victory at home in 2011.

Last season against GW, the Rams jumped out to a huge lead, 30-6, at the midway point of the first half.  The Colonials, however, battled to make it a close game, as Fordham ended up emerging with a 66-56 victory.

SCOUTING GW:  After finishing two games below .500 in his first season at the helm of the program, Jonathan Tsipis has turned the Colonials into a legitimate Atlantic 10 threat in 2013-14.  GW is 16-7 on the season with a 7-3 mark in the conference, tying them with Fordham for fourth place.  The Colonials had an impressive early-season win over 10th ranked Cal and have picked up conference wins over the likes of Saint Joe's and Duquesne.

The Colonials feature four scorers in double figures on the season, led by Megan Nipe at 15.2 points per game.  Jonquel Jones is averaging a team-best ten rebounds per game in addition to 13.8 points, while graduate student Danni Jackson averages 13 points per contest and ranks third in the conference in assists with nearly six per game.  Caira Washington nearly averages a double-double for the Colonials with 11.2 points and 8.9 rebounds per outing.
