Rams Back in Action on Saturday at Rhode Island

Duquesne's Arielle Love notched a match-high 14 kills, while Lacey Levers had 12 kills, as the Dukes downed the Fordham Rams in three sets at the A.J. Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh.  Final set scores were 25-13, 25-15, and 25-18.

With the loss, Fordham falls to 2-23 on the year, 2-9 in the Atlantic 10, while Duquesne improved to 15-9 overall, 8-3 in the league.

The Dukes had the Rams number over the first two sets.  Duquesne hit .531 and .481 in the first two sets, respectively, while totaling just three errors on offense, two of which were Fordham solo blocks by Abigail Konovodoff and Chandler Moore.

In the third set, trailing 12-6, the Rams tried to get back into the match with a 5-0 run, highlighted by a pair of blocks by Sarah Skelton.  However, the Dukes came right back with six straight points to make it an 18-11 game, a lead they would not relinquish.
