Fordham Football to Appear on National Television in 2013

The Fordham University - Lehigh University Patriot League football game on Saturday, October 5, will be broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network it was announced by the Patriot League today. Please note that the start time will now be Noon.

The Rams and Mountain Hawks played an exciting game last fall with Lehigh booting a field goal as time expired for a 34-31 win at Goodman Stadium. Fordham finished the year 6-5 under first-year held coach Joe Moorhead, recording the second best turnaround in the NCAA FCS in 2012.

The Fordham-Lehigh tilt will be one of two nationally televised Patriot League games in 2013, the other being the Colgate-Holy Cross contest on October 19. The four programs have combined to win the last six Patriot League football titles.

The game will be Fordham's first nationally televised football game broadcast from Jack Coffey since a Fordham-Columbia game was broadcast on The Football Network in 2003.

The Rams open the 2013 season on Thursday, August 29, as they host the University of Rhode Island on Jack Coffey Field at 7:00 p.m.
