Cincinnati, Ohio - The Fordham University men's basketball squad continues its Atlantic 10 season in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Wednesday night as the Rams face the Xavier University Musketeers in the Cintas Center at 7:00 PM.

The game will be televised live on Time Warner Cable's SportsChannel and streamed live at goxavier.com and will be broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on the internet at wfuv.org.

Fordham enters the game with a 6-18 record, 2-7 in the Atlantic 10, after a conference setback at La Salle on Saturday afternoon. Xavier enters the game with a 13-9 overall record, 6-3 in the A-10, and is coming off a 73-65 conference win at Duquesne on Saturday.

On the court, Fordham is led by junior Branden Frazier, who leads the team and is eighth in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (15.2 ppg) and also leads the squad and is second in the conference in assists (5.1/game). He became the 35th player in Fordham history to score 1,000 career points in the Saint Louis game. Freshman guard Mandell Thomas is averaging 16.2 ppg over the past five games, 13.1 ppg in Atlantic 10 games, and is shooting 50.0% (8-16) from behind the arc over the last five games. He netted a season-high 22 points against Saint Louis last Wednesday.

Wednesday night's contest will be the 26th meeting between Fordham and Xavier on the hardwood with the Musketeers leading the all-time series, which started in the 1957-58 season, 22-3. Xavier has won the past ten meetings, including a 67-59 win last year on January 7 in the Rose Hill Gym as Mark Lyons netted 20 points for the Musketeers while Branden Frazier finished with 22 for the Rams.

Jesuit Basketball Spotlight
The matchup between Fordham and Xavier is part of the nationwide Jesuit Basketball Spotlight project, using Jesuit basketball to raise awareness of Jesuit education. Both Fordham and Xavier are Jesuit schools.

The Jesuit Basketball Spotlight project highlights more than 90 games this season between men's and women's teams from the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities across the United States. Each of the 28 is dedicated to strong academics and teaching women and men to serve others and live a faith that does justice.

The spotlight project includes awareness announcements during these designated games and during gamecasts on radio and television; and other awareness opportunities. Jesuit, Catholic colleges and universities in the United States have more than 200,000 students currently and more than 1.7 million living alumni. The Jesuit educational mission began in Europe approximately 500 years ago.
