"Along with our extremely motivated returning group from this past year, our incoming class promises to make a huge impact on our program," says Head Coach Ted Bonanno. "Over the last few years we have seen enormous growth as more and stronger recruits continue to join our team. I'm confident that this incoming class is going to find great success and continue to build on our outstanding results at this year's Dad Vail Regatta. I'm excited to begin working with such an exceptional recruiting class."

In 2008 Fordham Rowing moved into the newly built Peter J. Sharpe Boathouse after fifteen years of rowing in much less luxurious facilities. Two years later a new full-time assistant rowing coach and Recruiting Coordinator was added to the staff. These two additions have been major factors towards the increased depth of the Fordham Rowing squad.

Upon completing his first year as Recruiting Coordinator, Assistant Coach Nick Dawe says "I appreciate having the experience of getting to know our incoming class. With the significant increase of interested top level recruits I've seen over the past year, there is great talent and experience in this large group. They are a very motivated bunch that I'm certain will have a positive impact on the team this year and into the future."

What's in store for the Rams this year? Coach Bonanno says, "We're looking to use our highly successful finish at the 2012 Dad Vail to encourage our current rowers to aspire to win the A-10 Championships and Dad Vail next spring, while inviting all our recruits to take a close look at Fordham University and the extraordinary tradition of Fordham Women's Rowing."
