Andrew McKernin Named 2011 Water Polo MVP

As the 2011-12 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 78th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 2nd to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.

Among those honored was Andrew McKernin (Riverside, Ill./Fenwick) who was named the 2011 Water Polo MVP.

Serving as a team captain, McKernin was a steady sniper for the Rams over his career. He played in over 100 games, averaging over a point per game, and this season topped the 20-goal mark for the second time in his career.
