Annie Worden Named 2011 Women's Soccer MVP

As the 2011-12 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 78th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 2nd to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.

Among those honored was Annie Worden (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) who was named the 2011 Women's Soccer MVP.

Worden, a junior, started every game for the Rams this season and continued her standing as one of the top forwards in the Atlantic 10. She ended the season with six goals and three assists for 15 points, ranking second on the squad in total goals and points as well as game-winning goals (two). She brought her career totals to 14 goals and seven assists for 35 career points.
