Titi Fagade Named 2011-12 Women's Indoor Track & Field MVP

As the 2011-12 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 78th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 2nd to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.

Among those honored was Titi Fagade (Rutland, Mass./Wachusett Regional) who was named the 2011-12 Women's Indoor Track & Field MVP.

Fagade, a sophomore, finished second at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship in the 500 meter dash in a time of 1:15.30, after missing her freshman indoor season with an injury. At the Valentine's Day Classic in Boston on February 10th, she set the school record in the 500 meters, and later ran a leg of the school record-setting 4x400 relay team.
