2012 CFPA FCS Tight Ends Watch List

Fordham University sophomore tight end Dan Light (Sutton, Mass./St. John's) was named to the 2012 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Tight End Award Watch List it was announced by the organization this week. He is one of 35 NCAA FCS tight ends named to the list and one of three from the Patriot League.
Light, who appeared in all eleven games as a rookie, enjoyed a successful freshman season for the Rams, catching 23 passes for 233 yards and one touchdown. His top game came at Georgetown where he hauled in five passes for 53 yards and the following week at Lafayette, he caught four more for 51 yards.
The purpose of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
