Fordham Baseball To Run Clinic Prior To Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship Game on May 26th

Bronx, N.Y. - In conjunction with the 2012 Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship, held at Fordham's Houlihan Park from May 23rd-26th, the Fordham baseball team will be conducting a free clinic from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 26th, prior to the championship game. The clinic is for children, ages 6-12, and includes free child admission to the game, which will be broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network, beginning at noon. The clinic roster is full and no new participants will be allowed. There will be no walk-ups.

The 2012 Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship is a four-day tournament with six teams vying for the league title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship tournament. The first three days (May 23-25) will feature three games each day, beginning at noon, leading up to Championship Saturday.

Championship Saturday begins with the free clinic, and will take place at Fordham University's Murphy Field for an hour and a half, and leads up to the Atlantic 10 Championship game at Houlihan Park.

Information on tickets for the entire tournament can be found on Fordhamsports.com's Ticket Center. Single day passes for adults are $8, while senior citizens, students, and children are $5. Four-day passes for the entire tournament are $24 for adults and $15 for senior citizens, students, and children.
