Round Results

Middletown, R.I. - The Fordham golf team posted an opening round team score of 306, good for third place, out of eight teams, in the New England Division I Championship from Newport National Golf Club in Middletown, Rhode Island. The Rams are four stokes behind first-place Hartford and were led in scoring by Jason Del Rosso and Jeff Hogan, who put up identical marks of two-over par, 75, putting them in a tie for fifth place.

After those two, Devon O'Rourke and Connor Monaghan put up identical rounds of 78 and are both in a deadlock for thirteenth position. The final Fordham competitor, Brody Nieporte, claimed a share of 21st place with a score of 81.

The team competes in the second and final round of competition on Saturday, April 7, beginning at 10:30 AM.
