Day One Scores

Coral Springs, Fla. - After a highly successful 2011-12 season that saw the Rams win a tournament in the fall and two more in the spring, the golf team currently sits in seventh place, out of 11 teams, after the first round of competition at the Atlantic 10 Championship from the Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida. Fordham shot a combined 295, 11 strokes behind day one leader, George Washington, who posted a score of 284.

Junior Brody Nieporte paced the Rams with a one-under-par 71, which gave him a share of sixth place. After that, Devon O'Rourke and Jason Del Rosso shared 18th position with a one-over score of 73. Connor Monaghan posted a round of 78, good for 46th place and finally, Jeff Hogancame in with a score of 80, landing him in 52nd position.

The Rams will get round two underway beginning at 8:15 on Saturday Morning. The tournament concludes with round three on Sunday, April 29.
