Camp Brochure

Bronx, N.Y. - The 2011 season was a very special one for the men's soccer team at Fordham University, and much of it was orchestrated by Head Coach Jim McElderry. The team recorded the most wins in McElderry's nine-year tenure at the school, the Rams defeated a pair of nationally ranked teams (including the NCAA runner-ups, Charlotte), the team had seven players feted for the All-League teams and senior goalie Ryan Meara was drafted by the Red Bulls in the MLS Draft and is now their starting keeper. The season was culminated by the Rams taking home a share of the Atlantic 10 Conference championship and McElderry being named the 2011 NSCAA/Mondo Mid-Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year.

Now soccer players can learn from a successful coach and staff as McElderry has announced the dates of his soccer camp, which will be held at Fordham's picturesque Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. The camp runs in two sessions from July 8-11 with both a residential and commuter portion.

The early portion of the day will be for campers who will stay over at Fordham while the latter period is for day campers. The camp will focus on skill development, exposure to local and national colleges and coaches as well as replicating the daily life of a collegiate soccer player.
