The Fordham University crew competed at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River where the Rams raced in the varsity 8, second varsity 8 and novice 8 with each boat taking fifth in its heat.
The varsity 8 placed fifth in its heat in a time of 7:12.92, behind the winner, Duke (6:40.06), Holy Cross (6:52.67), Rutgers (6:56.24) and Colgate (7:03.01).
In the second varsity 8, the Rams placed fifth in 7:25.85. Duke won the heat in 6:59.68 followed by UMass (7:05.64), Miami (7:21.26) and George Mason (7:25.84).
In the freshman/novice 8, the Rams were fifth in the heat in 8:22.74. Duke won the heat in 7:12.65, followed by North Carolina (7:17.21), UMass (7:39.30), Miami (7:58.65) and MIT (8:19.25).
The Rams will next be in action on Saturday, April 21st, as they compete in the Kerr Cup on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.
