Limited Number of Tickets Remain for Men's Basketball Game with Temple on Saturday

Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University men's basketball Rams closes out their 2012 Atlantic 10 schedule on Saturday afternoon when they host the Temple University Owls at 4:00 p.m. in the historic Rose Hill Gym. Saturday will also be Men's Basketball Senior Day as head coach Tom Pecora and the Fordham Rams bid farewell to three senior captains: Kervin Bristol, Alberto Estwick and Ryan Hage. They will be honored in a special pregame ceremony.

Estwick has appeared in 111 career games with the Rams, scoring 784 career points with 149 career three-pointer made, seventh best in school history. This year, he is averaging 3.6 ppg and 2.0 rpg.

Bristol, who is in his second year at Fordham after transferring from Broward Community College, has given the Rams a defensive presence. He is averaging 5.4 ppg 8.2 rpg and has 69 blocks to date. Bristol is third in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding and blocks (2.5/game) and his 69 blocks this year is the seventh best single season total in school history while his career total of 122 is fourth on the Fordham career list.

Hage, a walk-on who received a scholarship for his senior season, has appeared in 36 career games, amassing eleven points and five rebounds along with five assists and two steals.

The Rams enter the game with a 10-19 overall record, 3-12 in the Atlantic 10, after a 78-58 Atlantic 10 loss at Rhode Island on Wednesday night. Temple, ranked 23rd in the AP poll and 25th in the ESPN/USA Today poll, enters the game with a 23-6 overall record, 12-3 in the A-10, after a 90-88 overtime conference win at St. Bonaventure on Wednesday night.

On the court, Fordham is led by junior Chris Gaston, who leads the team in scoring (17.0 ppg) and rebounding (9.9 rpg). He is currently in eleventh place on the Fordham all-time scoring list with 1,410 career points and sixth on the all-time rebounding list with 902 career boards.

This will be the second meeting between the Rams and the owls this year. Temple took the first matchup, 78-60, on February 1st in Philadelphia.
