Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University women's basketball looks to earn a spot in the upcoming Atlantic 10 tournament as the Rams welcome the Saint Louis Billikens into the Rose Hill Gym on Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 PM. The game, which is part of the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight, will be the Rams' Senior Day and senior guard Becky Peters will be honored prior to the game. Follow the game using the links below:

The Rams and the Billikens meet for the seventh time on Sunday. Saint Louis leads the all-time series, 5-1, and has won five straight since dropping the series opener to the Rams. Fordham's only win came on February 26, 2006, six years ago to the day.

Fordham enters the contest with an 11-17 overall mark, 2-11 in the Atlantic 10. In their last contest, the Rams fell to #19/21 St. Bonaventure, 52-45, in Olean, New York on Wednesday. Charlotte Stoddart was one of two Rams to reach double figures as she led the team with 14 points. Becky Peters also chipped in with 10.

Fordham enters the game with three players averaging in double figures in scoring beginning with Arielle Collins at 11.2 ppg. Collins also leads the squad in assists (94) and steals (53) while Becky Peters enters play scoring 10.6 points per game and Abigail Corning is scoring 10.4 ppg and leads the team in three point shooting percentage (.355).

The Billikens enter the game with a 10-18 overall record, including a 4-9 A-10 ledger. In their last game, Saint Louis defeated Charlotte, 70-69, in overtime. They are led in scoring by Courtney Webb at 11.4 ppg, while Desirae Ball scores 9.1 ppg, and Lorreal Jones contributes 7.5 points per contest.

The game between Saint Louis and Fordham is just one of more than 100 games this season between teams from the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities across the United States. Each of the 28 is dedicated to strong academics and teaching women and men to serve others and live a faith that does justice.

The Rams enter the weekend one game behind Massachusetts for the 12th and final spot in the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship. Fordham needs to defeat Saint Louis and have Massachusetts lose at Xavier on Sunday afternoon to qualify for the tournament that will be held next week in Philadelphia.
