Fordham Game Notes
The Rams enter the game with a 9-15 overall record, 2-9 in the Atlantic 10, following a 77-67 conference at Duquesne University last Wednesday. Saint Louis enters the game with a 21-5 overall record, 9-3 in the A-10, after a 64-50 conference win at home over Richmond last Wednesday, the Billikens sixth win n a row.
On the court, Fordham is led by junior Chris Gaston, who leads the team in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounding (10.2 rpg). He has 1,334 all-time points for the Rams, 12th on the career list, and he is also sixth on the Fordham all-time rebounding list with 869 career boards. Gaston leads the Atlantic 10 and is 19th in the NCAA in rebounding and has 15 double-doubles on the year, sixth best in the NCAA, including a 23-point, 11-rebound game at Duquesne.
The Billikens lead the all-time series, 6-1, and have won the past four match-ups, including a 68-55 victory in the IZOD Center last January 19th as Kyle Cassidy scored 13 points and Dwayne Evans added 12 and eight rebounds.
Today's game between Saint Louis and Fordham is just one of more than 100games this season between teams from the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities across the United States.
